Jesse is incorrect,,, no offense, while the other two firsts make vaild points. I encounter this all the time.
Here is a suggestion, and I have done this.
I go to their name, and see if they have asked other Q's,,, or have answered any. Then I ask or state my topic,,,issue,,,etc, as a way to nudge them for a response,,, even if their Q or A isn't at all about the original context.
Good luck,,, but I also have another suggestion. Take the good from what you got, apply it, and be thankful. It's possible that person was rewarded enough just in offering valid advice.

It is because too many would use a readily available email to bombard us with spam or 'flame' us for our opinions or even send a virus in self-righteous retribution or simple boredom...
To avoid these problems, we lose the positive contact as well. Sad, but understandable these days.

Actually if you click on their "names" you should be able to go to the pages of those whom you seek to respond to, and send them an email.
I wouldnt think that anyone who is on this forum, wouldnt have a viable email in which to respond to...

Some people choose to not receive emails because, as you can see by this site, some people send hateful and disrespectful emails. It is each user's choice to receive or not receive email from others.

When you pick the best answer there is a section for comments, type in your comments there, and hopefully they will respond. I always check for comments if someone picks mine as best answer.

This is question and answer site. Not a forum. You should go to forums and you can answer back and forth and argue all you want.
