I'm just curious, how did you bring up to your significant other that you were ready to have kids? How did he/she react?

I got him drunk the first time we talked about it. Then the next day we discussed it and agreed to think about it. One month later he was ready to go! Now he is more baby crazy than I am.

We never really talked about it. We were at my brothers house (he just had a baby about 5 weeks ago) and my husband held the baby. I just saw the look in his eyes, we looked at each other, and just knew it was time to start trying. But you have to be emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially ready. it's a big responsibility.

Well my boyfriend and I didn't plan our first two, but the twins we did plan, except we planned one. But I told him that I wanted another baby. And he said that since we are almost not teenagers anymore (we were 19) that I guess we could. We already had two, so why not three? Well now we have four beautiful children!

I just came out and told him. We discussed finances and traveling situations (military), and talked abotu when we wanted kids. Now we have one on the way. :)

when i told mine he was scared to death but then when he relized that he was going to be a father he was happy.it was hard telling him that i wanted kids but he was happy that he wanted kids too.

i gussied up courage and asked plain out " do you want children?" he automatically said "YES!" he brightened up and asked when we could start
