A job is something you do while pursuing your career. A career is something you go after because you have a passion for it. Many don't even look at the money just because they enjoy working and helping others, teachers, doctors etc.

A job can be your career if you are continuing in education and can climb the ladder so to speak, if you are in a job that offers no advancements then it is just a job that you are presently doing to help pay towards you on your path to your career.

Hope this helps.

A job to me is just something you do to make money for the time being. Something you don't enjoy as much as you would if you had a college degree and had a career making more money and waking up every morning being happy to go to work instead of saying "Oh God, another day of work." A career is a job that is there for life. Like a goal. For example, a lawyer goes to college for 6 years to have a career because people will always need lawyers. Just the same as doctors. Som,ething set for years of doing that you enjoy doing.

A job is the work u do. It is the occupation u have. Like, if u are an architect, ur job is to design buildings .

A career is the catagory of work or job u have taken. for example, ur career is in building construction. It doesn't particularly mean any designation.

A job is something you take to make money when you can't get a career going.

People, for example, who go to college for 5 years in Cinema and can't find a studio job, won't take a teaching job and won't do wedding videos, end up selling cameras at Ritz Camera or working for a motion picture rental house fitting lenses to Panaflex camera for Steven Speilberg, who won't even consider giving them a job.

I believe that a job is a place you work to earn money with no set goals in mind. On the other hand when you have a career it is usaully somthing professional, accountant, lawyer doctor, nurse etc, with specific goals in mind.
