i pass blood almost every time i get a urinary tract infection or kidney infection...and it usually hurts like the dickens. it could also be caused by kidney stones or an injury.
some other symptons include frequent urination in small amounts, nausea, and fever.
you need to see your doctor in order to get a diagnosis and treatment! don't wait as that could make things worse!
good luck!

Been there.
You have a kidney stone. It's scratching the inside of your kidney (connected to your bladder) and makes the blood.
I suggest you go to the hospital for a scan before the stone gets too big.

you have to go to the dr to have a urine test done - dipstix. it will show if you have blood and proteins in the blood. if you do it may be the cause of an infection or diabetes may also present as the glomerular filtrate is damaged when you see blood.
please let your dr have a look...
its for the best

Painless bleeding or "heamaturia" always needs to be checked out , but first you need to confirm if it is actually blood , which can be done by a simple urine dipstick test at your General Practitioner
