It's usually ok for an older man to date younger women.

My husband is 6 years younger than me though! But the kids act as if he's older, well he's almost all grey haired.

My sister was married to a man 5 years older, then one 14 years younger, now she's living with a man who's 5 years older again. By the way these are the only men she has ever had. Not that you wanted to know!

I always heard it was the other way around. That it was okay for an older man to date a younger woman but an older woman shouldn't go with a younger man. I was given a lot of hell for dating my husband. We are very happy and in love (he's 21 and I am 31) while my sister is 27 with a 39 year old husband and very unhappy.

To be honest it is okay for anyone to date whom they feel but as long as they are both consenting adults. The may december romance question you posed is quite humourous because it was nly in the late eighties and early ninetys that the populace adjusted to older woman dating younger men, of course the reason for that was the previous forty years or so it was the opposite way men dating younger woman. The truth is that both sexes are entitiled to see whom they please as long as they are not breaking laws or hurting themselves or others. There is a slight bias when it comes to dating an older man such as father issues, control and manipulation or gold digger syndrome but if the couple is meant to be then they will survive. I hope that helps a little.

Men can date younger women, just as long as they're not under age. And it is perfectly normal. The wierd thing is when a woman dates a younger man...I'm 25 and just had a little fling with a man who's 23...younger than my little brother. There's nothing wrong with it, but it just felt wierd.

I thought it was the other way around. . . . . . older men are always going out with younger women but you never see that many older women with younger men.

I think it doen'st matter either way as long as the couple can relate to each other. Although women usually mature faster then men so it seems to make sense for young women to look for older men.

It's okay for men to date younger women as long as they're not jail bait.

it IS the other way around, men usually fall for younger girls, and girls usually fall for older men, because women mature faster than men and so are attracted to older men who have the same maturity as her

Actually some women prefer older to look after them and they feel safer while other women prefer to be incharge because they are more experienced than their toy boy but from young women to mid aged women they find most men their age idiotic and immature so they go for more mature and older than their selves
