there's defo a male-female divide here, it's abit depressing! Would men rather live in a loveless, friendless, cold relationship for 2minutes squelching noises (johnny rotten or sid vicious quote)

Me and my partner were friends first and we had a load of laughs, we still do and I couldn't live without that so I would choose friendship, I could live without sex, he couldn't though so I hope he doesn't read this!!

If I could only have one or the other it would be friendship. Your interest in sex waxes and wanes through your life but good friendship and companionship lasts throughout your life. That's what makes a good marriage, friendship. You like each other, you get along well and you are interested in the same things. You never run out of things to talk about.

That is very tough. Because friendship won't keep ya warm at night. Ok, I'm shallow I'd give up friendship. But Only if the sex was really really to die for. Otherwise I pick friendship

Friendship, because if I have to live with this person on a daily basis and love them I have to be able to laugh with them and share stuff and be a friend. Sex I can get with someone else on the side.

I would choose friendship. You can always take care of yourself. I'd rather have a sexless marriage than a lonely one.

I would choose friendship, sex isn't everything...a true friend is hard to find.
