For every 100 black women there are 85 black men. Remove the druggies, the homosexuals, the prisoners, and the ones dying from AIDS and its probalby like 40 black men for every 100 black woman. Add into the mix men dating outside their race and its even lower.
It just sucks being a sister who wants only brothas. While ultimately what you experience is IGNORENCE and a woman with ISSUES, it still sucks.
Woah, I just read your question all the way...FIGHT YOU!!! Oh hell no they didn't!!!!
Ask your husband what he thinks of black women. If its all negative, then you know what we face inside and outside our race. I hate being told that I am no good by black men and while its not your issue, if your husband does give negative feedback, think about the full fairness of it - outside the fighting bitches you deal with.

Well to be honest it's really an issue of not having enough self esteem. I mean alot of black men can't handle the strength of a true African American Queen and settle for the meolodrama that Caucasion women ooze. Black men have low self esteem and sell out when they marry white women, this is only a theory ofcourse. Personally I don't think it matters what color you are deemed, love is love.

I think that is messed up, and women of ALL RACES should respect the unity that you and your husband have......and I know that you are speaking of the black women you've come across, but please don't generalize all black women. I think interacial dating is wonderful, and different cultures coming together is a beautiful thing... some people dont. I am also sure that some white people are hateful toward you too....I just hope you know that most people respect interacial relationships.

I think they are pissed because good black men are hard to find and they are jealous because it seems like all the good black men want to be with white women and that leaves nothing for them. It's a reverse form of racism, but you can understand why they might feel that way.

properly i'm white and that i do no longer look down or up at absolutely everyone for his or her race yet for who they're as a individual. i'm specific maximum folk those days are like that. i would not look to lots into this, if there's a guy you like regardless of if he's white, black or purple you will possibly desire to decide for it. do no longer complication approximately what others think of its your existence and race would not remember.

like i've said before on here people are ignorant. there is nothing you can do about that. i am mixed(black & white)but i'm really dark most of my boyfriends have been white, so people look at me crazy sometimes too. (i live in Alabama, know what i mean) But i just look back at them and give them a big smile. they hate that more than anything.

Black women look at it like this. What do these white girls have that's so much better than me? A lot of it has to do with ignorance. It makes other people feel better about themselves to talk trash about something that's none of their business. Black women tend to thing we're taking their man from them (as if they have dibs on all the brothas). It's just insecurites on their behalf. Don't sweat it!

You said it, that is what it is being hateful. Hearing it from a black woman, if this is what you want and you are happy with this man then I congratulate you. Don't worry about what other people say as long as you are happy with him and treats him well. Good Luck:)

Your going to have to stick to your guns. I'm sure not all black women are like this, but the ones that you have come in contact with are just hateful people who feel threatened by you. Just try your best to stir clear of trouble. Stay away from them. Stay out of their neighbors. Good Luck.
