Yes I would. There is tons of good garbage out there. People use the garbage as a way to get rid of anything they don't want. I've found the best is when people are moving or spring cleaning. Don't even need to get dirty or dig. Just look and observe, you'll learn to figure out the good stuff. I've found thousands of dollars of perfectly clean good toys, clothes, furniture just sitting there. Tons more I leave behind that just get smashed up with the smelly trash.

I just might do it, especially if I saw a good book, or a good cd. If the book had junk all over it, then, no I would not. Whatever I might happen to take, I would make darn sure I had gloves on and a bottle of hand sanitizer on hand. I sure would not want anybody seeing me do it. I have been known to take perfectly good ceramic plant containers out of a trash bin, just couldn't help it. Sorry.

Where I live, the trash haulers aren't supposed to do that or they can lose their jobs...but you know some of them have to do it, because frankly, people often throw away perfectly good stuff.
I'd probably do it, depending on what I saw. I'd look at it as a fringe benefit for having to deal with trash all day.

I definately wouldnt stick my hands in someones garbage. It makes you wonder "Why is it in the garbage in the first place?".I wouldnt dare "dig" in someone garbage.I personally would find it rude and an invasion of privacy that they dug through my garbage.Although, maybe he needed something that was in there. It would depend on the situation and what he actually took out of it.I dont know i guess every situation is different, but myself i would never go through someones garbage that cant be sanitary.

I sorted recycling & trash for a job for a year. And sometimes there was some good stuff (especially on campus at the end of the year). But mostly it was just smelly junk.

He ll no. Ours has dog doody, syringes from self administered medication, bodily waste from bathroom, rotten food from kitchen, someone would be crazy to dig through all that... although people do it all the time. I feel very sorry for them that they are in such dire need they are willing to risk getting sick or injured for the chance of finding 'something good' (whatever that is!).

I wouldn't dig very deep through their trash, but if I see something interesting then hey-why not?

I used to love going dumpster diving you really wouldnt believe the stuff that you can find in ones garbage , of course not the food garbage but if i seen clothes or junk that i like, why not ? its fun and you get stuff for free.

I wouldn't dig in it if you had something outside a bag and I liked it I would take it. Becareful he is not looking for old checks or bank info b/c he could steal the information.
