stand on your head all day the day before you want it to stop.. this will inhibit blood flow in that direction for the next 24 hours

If it hasn't started, start a new pack of birth control pills.

I am on the ortho novum shot and I LOVE it! It stops menstration totally, including bloating and headaches and all the nasty stuff that comes with it, and one dose lasts 3 months. It is completely safe and there are very few minor side effects. (I had an acne flair up because of the change in hormones, but it all worked out.)

Talk to your doctor about it. It works.

I'm not sure you can hon, but I do think you can stop it for a little while if you take a really hot bath. That usually stops it for me for a couple of hours, but a whole day???......... nope, that's just one of the perks of being a woman lol. Sorry bout that. That would be great though lol,........ just turning it off for a day lol.

If it has started already, there is nothing you can do, but if you haven't yet, and you are on birth control, don't take the sugar pills and go directly to your next pack, it will skip the entire period.

You can't stop it once it starts unless you have a physician give you a D&C and I doubt if they would do it just because you would want it as it would be unethical as well as illegal for them to do so.

warm bath for around an hour...it will help for awhile but probably not all day. heat for some reason works very well...try those all heating pads that you stick to yourself, put one on your abdomen...
