Thanks for the title. According to some sites I saw it was apparently banned at one time, but sexylittlemisstweetybird8 is apparently correct about being able to get it on DVD.
As a matter of historical value, not to mention 'free speech',it should be accessible. I hate the idea of racial supremacy, and a movie like this could never change my mind about that ---- 4 sure.

I found and ordered the DVD here:
http://www.thesongofthesouth.com/ORDERING.htm
***But this same site apparently has an old claim that you can't get Song of the South on DVD = Song of the South - Frequently Asked Questions
A. No, Song of the South is not officially available on DVD. ... You can also
add your name to Amazon's Song of the South DVD request list as well. ...

Yes, it's Song of the South, and no it will never be released on video or DVD in the United States. There are no plans currently or in the future to release the film. Amazon does not have it, anyone selling it on ebaby has a copy from another country or an illegal version. I worked for Disney for several years, believe me when I say it would take a lot more than a few requests from Amazon to get the Disney execs to agree to the film's release. It's sad, I love the movie and I think people should at least have the option of being able to see it or purchase it. It's not gonna happen.

Song of the South is the correct answer, the but movie portrayed the black race as inferior to the white race. But in the time it was made, it was considered a good children's movie, of which is was not because it gave the wrong impression about Black Americans.

Song of the South - It is not on DVD in the United States, sometimes if you check Ebay you might be able to find one from outside the country. It is considered too racial/politically incorrect for the US

It is called Song of the South. Good luck ever getting it on dvd. Disney won't release it because the p.c. crowd will throw a fit, calling it racist.

Song of the South, and No you can not buy the movie, I doubt that it will ever be released. It is considered to not be politically correct in these days.
