like most people when I read sun signs and compare to people I know there are often many similarities I can see- however my ex husband is a Scorpio and he is nothing and I mean nothing like a scorpio...I have known Scorpio men before and can see it in them...I have gotten many people to read the Linda Goodman book and everyone, bar none, agrees there is not one trace of scorpio in his personality....to be quite honest he really doesn't remind me of any sign in particular...can anyone explain...I have never seen that before....

yes his birthday is correct and he was not premature..someone suggested that before ..although I don't know if the latter would make a difference

Your husband's entire chart based on: date, place and exact time of birth, would need delineated to determine why people say he doesn't seem to have Scorpion characteristics.
For starters, all the planets in signs, all the houses, and all aspects need interpreted, as well as some other things need to be taken into account. This is why Sun sign horoscopes by themselves do not work.

1. Sun Signs are for entertainment, but have nothing to do with actual Astrology.
2. No two Sun signs are alike, because of the constant transiting of planets moment to moment. Even twins can have different rising signs by 4 minutes.
3. The blueprint of your natal chart is determined by:
• Date of Birth
• Time of Birth (Wartime or Daylight Savings?)
• Place of birth (Longitude & Latitude)
4. An astrological chart is then calculated from that information, which determines your Rising Sign, and Planetary signs and positions in Houses. The House cusp signs will also be determined — describing your approach to those areas of life those Houses are associated with.

The Sun is not the only indication of how a person will act. You have to look at a person's overall chart, which signs the planets are in, the houses they are in, and aspects between the planets.
For example, his Ascendant, Moon, Mercury, and Venus could be in Libra. In that example the Libra influence could soften the Scorpio tendencies.
I have a friend who is a Scorpio and doesn't act like a typical one; although he is secretive and loyal. I never thought I would actually like a Scorpio, but he is great.

I honestly would have to say mental illness.
My sis Jady is bipolar and she doesn't act
like her sign either,or anyone because she is
always up & down on many different levels.
But if he's not mental,then explain yourself,
ok? You say he doesn't remind you of "ANY"
sign? Well,that would be almost impossible
since we all have certain traits known to us
as humans and they are listed in the zodiac.
Some more than others,but all very human.
What I am saying is,he has to identify with
one or more of them as a person,even if
astrology is false. Some of us may have
brain washed ourselves into believing it,but
my point is this,he is human so he will have
some traits of some signs.

the whole chart would have to be taken into consideration. im a cancer but act alot like a scorpio at times mainly because my sun is in the 8th house and my scorpio moon, conjuncts my pluto and my many other harmonius aspects with my water/earth planets. but since cancer and scorpio are so closely together in alot of the traits its fairly hard to notice from the surface.
he could be just like me in that there is another sign dominating his chart. or a blend of signs dominating. also is he on the cusp with his sun? that could change some things aswell

There are many possibilities behind this. First one involves birthdate. If it is at the end of the scorpio month then there are chances that his character is influenced by sagi. if he has taken birth in the beginning of the scorpio month then he might be influenced by libra. I have a friend who calls herself libra. I tried to match the sign with her character but it was of no vain. there was not a trace of libra in her. In the end i found out that she is totally influenced by virgo. same can be told for my cousin who is aquarius, but her character matches capricorn sign. another possibility is that your husband's birthdate is totally wrong or missprinted.

There have been studies (randi.org has several examples) where people in a class were each given their personality profiles based on their birth and sign. Most agreed it explained their personality very well. Until later they found they had all been switched and given the wrong ones.
It seems people tend to find relate to the good things in the profiles, and ignore the wrong things. So it doesn't really seem very accurate in any sense.

expections are alwyas there astrology will always be correct i dont think anybody predicted like that sometimes the enviroment in which u grow effects the nature so just keep ur kool!!!

Star signs are completely arbitrary. There is no hard evidence that the date you were born on has any influence whatever on your personality. Sorry to disappoint you.
