You sound like a very loving husband. She is lucky to have a husband who cares so much for her happiness he would ask others for advice. Now, you know her better than anyone. With that said, as a woman I would apprciate a guester of love such as a romantic dinner, or a theater presentation such as a musical or play. What types of things does your wife enjoy? Does she like reading? What types of books? Look at the shelves on the bookcase and see for yourself then get her something like that. I know I would enjoy something like this from my fiance. That he took the time to find out what I like and then tried to get something simular. Does she like computer stuff? Does she like taking photos or videos of the family or trips etc? Then perhaps some software program she can use to create great photo art, like collages, or such, or a video recorder or a dvd recorder she can use to take her old vhs family movies and convert them into digital.
Just figure out what she enjoys and get her something along those lines and then take her to a nice dinner. That should work out fine. She is a lucky woman to have such a thoughtfull husband. If she likes jewelry, get her a bracelet or a right hand ring. If flowers get her a potted plant for her to care for or a few dozen different types of flowers and a lovely evening at the movies and a cadlelight dinner and then the fun starts for dessert at the house, another idea is some lingerie to make sure she knows how secy and beatuful you have always found her (since marriage kind of makes you forget that sometimes) hey what about a short trip out of your town for the weekend to go somewhere new, get pictures, a hotel (hint hint wink wink) and view something different!
