I guess I'm trying to ask is how much is too much to weigh when you ttc.

you should have a normal median range BMI regardles of your actual weight (a BMI of about 20.5 is median)
so if you are 5'4" thats 120 lbs (above 145 is too high)
for 5'5" its 124 (above 149 is too high)
for 5'6" its 127 (above 154 is too high)

more important is that you gain correctly during your pregnancy, nothing during your first three months (or up to 4 lbs water retention) and .8- 1.2 lbs each week after week 14.

Well I tell you what I had a friend that was well over weight and she had twins. She didn't even know she was pregnant. So I would say it doesn't matter unless your doctor say other wise.

really i think it should be how healthy you are, not how much you weigh. Your weight really doesn't link to how well you can carry and nurture a child.

That should depend on your height & body mass index (unless you're a body-builder-type, of course)

If you are average height let's say 5'4" - 5'6" I would say no more than 140 lb.

Check your height and weight scale.. that should tell you.
