I went to one of their concerts last night and their music rocks!!! I could not sit in my seat for very long. I had to get up and dance. I did not know that they were so great.

Personally, I like Rucker's voice, --- I just wish it had more range. But, then again, you don't need range when you play for the masses ( I don't mean that in a bad way)...
The music is much the same: Well-executed, but lacks variety of key movement (this may be an unfair assessment, as they probably have to do this because of Rucker's limited vocal range)...

About fourteen years ago I was in Chapel Hill, NC helping out some friends of mine by doing a little roadie work for a gig they were playing at a club there and, as fate would have it, --- so was HATBF: Believe me, they weren't good at all then (the guys were pretty cool, though)...

Just goes to show what a little more practice can do for you...:-)

I remember one really good song, then lots of average songs. Maybe I should take a second listen.
