I read the book and saw the movie.
The book is OK for a fiction. Good plot and scenario.
The movie: dull, boring, not convincing, bad plot (is that maybe because I read the book first then watching the movie?) but my friend who never read the book got bored and slept all the way.
Dull movie!

All people's conceptions are different. What one may like another may dislike for various reasons. The book was very good as an enjoyable read. The movie was well done, but if they made it exactly like the book it would be at least a week long. Some of the finer points of the book were lost because there was not enough time to add them to the movie for the above mentioned reason. Still it is up to the perception of whomever watches or reads to say exactly what the book or movie does for them.

I didn't see the film, but I hate that book! It's really awful, it's the worst book in the world! I don't like Brown's way of writing, but I have to say that the story is quite involving... If there are some mistakes, forgive me, I'm Italian and I'm writing from Milan now... Bye!!!!

The book was good, I finished it in about a week. I'd recommend it if you like a good mystery. I haven't seen the movie on principal as I find that I'm almost always disappointed in the screen versions of books that I've read.

the themes that i've got been advised some Christians have with The DaVinci Code is that it asserts that the Bible became incorrect (shocker!) and that the Church has been hiding this super secret for that's very own very own earnings. My opinion on that remember is, in case you do no longer purely like the e book, or you suspect that the examine Dan Brown did became genuine, do no longer study it! i do no longer think the Bible is genuine, so i do no longer study it. and you do no longer hear me complaining approximately it. As for Harry Potter, i think of people who've issues of that are ridiculous! human beings say they want the e book banned because of the fact it teaches witchcraft (which it would not) and because it will be a bad impact on Christian toddlers. My factor there is, while you're one in all those solid Christian, and you're doing one in all those bang-up job coaching your toddlers your ideals, yet then some infants books come alongside and punctiliously undo all the artwork you have executed coaching them, then curiously you probably did no longer do as super a job coaching it as you concept, now did you? develop up human beings! no longer all human beings believes what you do, and we are entitled to no longer. in case you do no longer purely like the books, or do no longer want your families reading them, positive....do no longer! yet do no longer launch extensive assaults against the books and their readers, you're in basic terms being petty and ridiculous!

I liked the book a lot more than the movie. I thought people would be confused if they watched the movie without reading the book, but my husband liked it. The movie was just okay. I loved the book.

both true and false ... as for the film i think its just the way that director imagines the script ... and for the book- while reading everyone creates his/her own film ..thats why its more intresting..
to tell the truth i didint like the book at all :P

Whomever you are speaking to about the film and book were absolutely right. Book was incredible, movie was so-so.

Most of the negative comments about the book will probably be from rightwing christians who dont like the subject matter and cannot separate fiction from reality.
