Are the current europeans abandoning Israel to the genocidal drive of jihadists the same way their ancestors abandoned the jews in 1939 to the hands of Hitler and the nazis ?

I think you will find there wasnt an awful lot that europeans could do to help the jews in WWII as there countries were occupied, and they had no power to do anything. Israel doesnt need european help as they have america. Have you stopped to think that europeans are trying to ammend britains mistake of allowing the jews to steal palestine?

It seems that Israel suffers from the same insularity of its mentors,the USA. This is civil war, the worst kind of conflict, your only permanent solution is political as you well know, the sooner you bite this particular bullet the sooner people will stop dying. Your country appears to be acting as the worst kind of bully and thus forfeiting the sympathy of most of the world.
Your own citizens have the power to change things and you can start by not treating your Arab people as second class citizens.

why are most people saying why doesn't Britain do this and that, we are not the policeman of the world, the Americans are after we held that position for 300 years, but that's all gone. Lets just do what scores of countries do keep their heads down and keep out of any other countries affairs we have enough on our plate here in this our own country to sort out..And bring our forces back here as well, They could be helping the police to keep order on our streets 24/7

all nations suffered from Nazis in WWII, but you took it as a slogan and often think you are victimized. Here in Russia they (Jews) always say they are persecuted. But it's not true. They live better than anyone else here. The most interesting thing is that most Jews left for Israel For example actors) and now they came here in Russia and live here.
And what you do there in Palestine and in Livan is a great sin. You will be punished fot this. All people have the right to live. and you have no right to do what your country does.

I think you'll find that Britain didn't abandon anyone during the 2nd world war and fought with huge losses trying to free Europe whilst the USA did nothing, refusing to get involved.
It took pearl harbour for them to finally get off their asses and help out theri European 'allies'
Israel is neither occupied or in danger right now, sitting on the worlds 6th largest arsenal of nuclear weapons

no. the worlds most powerful nation at the moment is assisting Israel, unlike in WW2, when the US only joined the war effort when one of its ships was attacked. In 1939 the then Worlds most powerful Nation and her commonwealth lost millions of men fighting the oppresion of Hitler and the Nazis.
My history is a little rusty but thats the basis of it.

We may have been slow on the uptake but then it was an incredible thing that the Germans were doing to the Jews - who would've believed it?! Even the Jews themselves were slow to react. We came good in the end though

Yes if you keep bombing civilians, the UN, Red Cross Vehicles and rescue vehicles. Sorry but some targets are off limit regardless of provocation - even if fighters are hiding amongst civilians. Israel is snookered because the "Hearts and Minds" wont work when you are dealing with this kind of extremism. But if you want the support of the British STOP BOMBING AMBULANCES!!!
