Keep looking.Ask around at your school, church, and your friends. They're parents always looking for someone reliable to watch there kids. Look in your newspapers. We have our own little newspaper in our town that has everything going on.If you have one look in there too. You could always mow lawns for money too. Find people where both parents work and see if you could clean their house,. It all depends on how much work you are willing to do...Good luck

Market research. Find out what in your area needs doing and that people are willing to pay for. I knew two young ladies at one time that had a very nice business doing and folding laundry. They worked for people that their parents knew or had checked out so it was safe and it payed very well. People hate to fold clothing. There are many other opportunities around were you live. Just be careful with people you do not know.

check your local newspaper. lots of parents put ads in for the need for babysitters. There are also other jobs listed that will be available to you. But you should enjoy your youth before you get bogged down in a job.

My kids started working when the were 8 and 9. They mucked stalls feed animals., collected cans, cleaned yards, anything they could. They did not have to work they wanted to. It made them proud to earn their own money.
