I called in probably 4 times within a year(using my sick time).
a) I was incapable of even getting out of the bed. It was like gravity holding me down. I was handicapped at the moment. I was definitely sick. I don't have the heart to lie about being sick. I just say I can't make it this morning and sound really bad.
b) One time I had red(pink) eye so I couldn't go in. I looked totally gross.
c) brother was in the hospital in bad condition.

Last time I called in sick I told them my Viagra was acting up and I could'nt get rid of my erection.
No one at work had the nerve to question me when I came back.

Flat tire or I sleeped through the alarm. my son doesn't feel well. i forgot about a dr appointment i need to get to today. flat tire on the car.

my friend had this excuse that her father was in a car accident and that she had to stay at the hospital all weekend and got no sleep. it's a horrible thing to say, but they believed her.

hell i use the stomach ache one or i always say i ran out of gas or some sort of fluid in my car
