It is sad... but it's a part of meerkat life. The leader of the group has the right to evict members if they have babies, because Flower has mating rights and no one else does. At least she didn't kill the babies!
I'm hoping Tosca and Carlos will start their own clan. Or maybe Tosca and Youssarian can (since they're not related). Hopefully there'll be a Season 2 so we can find out!!
