Let me ask you a question,
So listen well,
I'll say it once,
So please don't tell.

(CHORUS) A guy like you, with a girl like me,
We're so different,
How can this be? (2x)

I can ask you again,
Right here, right now.
I can tell you more,
If you allow.

(CHORUS)

If you don't know,
I'd like to say,
I love you, boy,
More every day.

(CHORUS)

I may say truth,
I may say lie,
But I love you more,
Than the stars in the sky.

(CHORUS)

Your heart is pure,
My love is strong,
So maybe we,
Can get along.

(CHORUS 2x)

Do you like it? This is the first draft, so, I can tweak it a lot. I don't have any music for it.

Anyway, most singers don't write their own lyrics.

It IS a bit dry, but it goes very well do the melody of that song that goes "all i want is to feel this way... the evening speaks.." Anyway, I have no one to love! *sob* ='(

I think it could be a love ballad, or a slow dance song.

Not bad at all. It should have a nice rocking music though.

I think it's weird that you say you love the boy and then later you talk about getting along, like you are still meeting him.

Put the progression of the relationship in chronological order.

OR play loud, sing loud and wear clothes that will distract and if you play good stuff the sound will overcome.

The Beatles did OK with Obi-Di Obi-Dah!

It's a bit cliche I'm afraid. But you did better than I could! I'd agree it'd could make a decent dance/pop tune.

It's not the worst I've heard. It'd probably work well for like a dance song.

Good song. Strong lyric and simple. I would say :

I may tell a lie.
