It depends. Sometime when my husband is being silly, and I am the only one around, I feel embarrased for him. He thinks he is being cute and adorable but I find it embarrassing. He can be funny, sure, but not silly.

Don't know...define "silly". A little too much of that at the wrong time can get old real fast. Other times ...just a lil of that can lighten things up.

If we are alone and just want to make me laugh then off course why not. But if situation requires serious attention then silliness is intolerant.
