It depends on what the disabilities are. Some can marry and be disabled and all is well. But depending on the disabilities and who she marries it could cause her great heart ache and make it harder on both of them, especially if neither wind up not treating each other with alot of love and compassion.

The big question > is she willing to sacrifice to help him with his disabilities if he needs help?

Yes, I allowed her to married with the disable person. We have to respect our children decision as long as they love each other. There is no wrong in such things it is only whether are we able to accept the disable person as part of our family. Just imagine if you have a disable child and fall in love with a body abled person, would you object the relationship? I believe you will not, so give your children a chance to fall in love with someone they love whether they are abled or disabled person.

it is the daughter's choice of her lifetime partner, so i will permit her to marry him.. but i'm sure as a parent, i'll be really worried about her future, whether that guy will be able to provide her with a happy and comfortable life after marriage. however, many times, happiness does not equate with things associated with money and success. a person can be in riches but not find happiness if s/he is not with the person s/he love. it is not a easy choice to make and i'm sure your daughter do love and respect you and that's why she's seeking your permission to marry this guy. and i'm sure you love her too, or else you won't be stuck in this.

If she really wants to marry him you can't stop her & his disability won't stop him from loving her with all his heart

Yes, there are no boundaries when it comes to love. Just make sure that she understands that it will take a lot more from her and that he may not be able to give as much. But if she has no problem with it then let her be.

If they love each other and make each other happy, it shouldn't matter that he's disabled. The fact that she can see past his disability and love him for who he is should make you really proud of her.

I know that as parents, we want what's best for our children (or what WE think is best) but you have to try and accept that she should be the one to decide what's best for her.

Yes, why not. Just because he is disabled that does not mean he is incapable of loving your daughter.

Yes why not...she loves him and he surely loves her...i mean, being disabled does not make you any less of a human being...he might be even better than normal people....

I would sit down and make sure she understands the challenges she will face. Don't accuse her of being naive or stupid. After that I would give her your blessing. She is a old enough to make her own decisions.
