You're one inch taller than me and I'm 28. :) You're a bit on the short side, like me, but you could still grow a couple inches. If not, don't worry. I always get to stand at the front of a crowd at parades and such b/c everyone can see over me...LOL...and I get the bird's eye view! Seriously, my height is not a big issue...ppl don't care...and I bet your friends and loved ones aren't too worried either. :) Short ppl rule! LOL

Nope, you're petite. You may grow more or you may not. Either way, it's nothing to worry about. I have adult female friends that range in height from 4'11" to 6'1". Love your body, enjoy life and don't sweat the small stuff.

Oh, I'm 5'8", with a 32" inseam and I have problems getting pants that don't ride around my ankles. "Regulars" are often 1" too short and "talls" are too long. See, we all have problems : )

One more thing...we all stop growing at different ages. I was the same height for several years, then somewhere between 28 and 30, I grew an extra inch.

Yes, you could have inherited the "short" gene from one or both of your parents. The good news is that being almost 16 you're not done growing.

Would you prefer to be taller? If so, unfortunately there's little you can do about it, unless you wear high heels and what not (which, in the long term can lead to back trouble and sore feet, so be judicious in your use of them).

Nope...you're petite! I'm 23 and have been 5'0" since about your age. There are many advantages to being on the smaller side. The only disadvantage I've found is when it comes to buying pants and dresses, although a lot of manufacturers are now making petite sizes and "short" lengths in pants. Everything else you can just have hemmed to fit.

Are you an American? Some societies are tall and some are short in general. If you are from the U.S. you will find people of all statures. Females 5' and over are not considered short. Men 5'7" and over are not considered short.

Yes you are short. You could grow a couple more inches though. I am 29 and 5'2", hey you are last to get wet when it rains!

Well, most people grow at a different rate than others. You are short for your age, but that is ok.
