Regrettably, most of them do not try to change men to much these days; their nobility has been sacrificed and they change men to too little.

Very interesting Q!
I'm not sure women, or men for that matter, "try to change" their partners, however, I am sure they do merely by being a partner. I'm of the opinion that "changing" the partner, regardless of how slight or slow the process, is what leads to such a high divorce rates. My point being; The person who caught your eye in the first place did so b/c of some intangible, or emotional thing, within yourself. After being together, while some change is natural and inevitable, it may actually have the effect of adding an unseen pressure or strain on the relationship. Add to this any amount of "tweaking" by one partner onto the other and suddenly this person who "caught your eye" is no longer the same person! YOU changed them! Call it what you wish, divorce is a likely solution. As for what the media thinks; I could care less!

While most of you slept, men have changed dramatically. They have responded to the irrational and contradictory demands of the "modern woman" who then admits she can't stand the men she has created, and looks for a 'real man' in the bars or in the ghetto.
Fifteen or twenty years ago, the Day Care Association in my city at the time at a meeting discussed parents of their kids. And, these women agreed at least half the fathers were doing a much better job than the mothers. Changing diapers; up nights with the sick kids.
Women haven't changed at all, except to demand more and more and do less and less. After forty years of militant feminism, and shrieks everywhere about evil discrimination against women, and every imaginable lawsuit for equality, WOMEN STILL REFUSE TO CHANGE THE LAW SO WOMEN ALSO HAVE TO REGISTER FOR SELECTIVE SERVICE.!!!!!
And, women also insist on men fulfilling the traditional role of financial provider via child support laws, which prove to every man who has to pay that women are inferior and helpless and cannot survive without help from men, just as they believed 100 years ago.

I don't think it is fair to say the women try to change men. In every relationship I have ever been in my boyfriends try to change me. They usually want me to be helpless, so they can rescue me and feel like a strong man.
But if you are talking about woman changing men to be more 'metrosexual' a lot of guys are doing it on their own. I have had boyfriends that want advice on keeping their skin healthy.
But I do agree that men and women should be comfortable in who they are. And many women suffer from trying to change themselves to satisfy the man in their life, which only cause more unhappiness.

It makes me wonder who is the most sensitive sex all that running men do.... I'm a bloke and a christian, i will not change that for any woman. But i do think modern women do work on men and grind them down, but i'm sure men do have expectations but women seem naturally obssessd, this is key obssessed with men, and the role thereof.

Women have tried to change men since the begging of time. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, there is always something they think can be improved upon.
The trick is to find someone who is more worried about themselves. This solves at least the "improvement" problem.

ur completely right. women always try to change their men either cconciously or sub consciously and the men, for the skae of pleasing the woman repress themselves and are sometimes uncomfortable. this may lead to problems in the relationship later on.

No, I think women are more concerned about trying to make men accept the way women are today.

You're not THE Brad are you? If so, I can't imagine anyone wanting to change you! Seriously, I agree wholeheartedly with you that we need to be comfortable with ourselves....and so do our chosen partners. If your partner wants to change you, then it's not you that they want, and you need to look elsewhere.
