go out to a bar or somewhere where he may take it off and leave it on a chair, then when he in the toilet or something hide it, claim you saw 2 guys taking it, who then ran out of the bar

He ll think they stole it because it looked good, you can pretend you liked it, but the jacket will be gone.

if he buys another one dump him

You could either suffer with it, after all you like him for who he is, not his clothing.

OR

You could ask why he likes it so much. Then gently suggest that another style might look better on him. Have something in mind that's in his price range (less expensive) and tell him how it will make his *shoulders, chest, body* look so fantastic that you can't wait to see him in one. Then take him to the mall and have him try one on like you have in mind. Tell him how fabulous he looks, how sex, how *whatever*. Drool a lot, and act like that jacket just *does it* for you.

Most guys will respond better if they think it will make them look that good, over an insult or criticism about what they are wearing.

If the relationship was based on a cheap leather jacket I would seriously rethink my life.

tell him the truth and makes sure he knows your serious but dont hurt his feelings about it.... you could always by him a nice leather jacket.... but i really dont think anybody could pull off a fake leather jacket and not look like a cheap fool! and the longer you let him wear it ... the harder it will be to tell him that it dosnt look good

Why are you worried about his fashion statement. What kind of person is is much more important. You can tell him that you don't think that the jacket looks as good as he does.

If he really likes it, then I'd do nothing. I'm not so superficial that I'd worry about a stupid jacket. There are other things more important than that. I'd rather concern myself with things like "Is my boyfriend kind, trustworthy, honest, good-hearted, loyal, etc.?"

Take him to shop that only sells leather jackets, then get him to buy one with numerous "don't you look sexy" type comments...

Hehehehe that's funny. Oh girl, you got to tell the poor bloke. Be straight with him. If he doesn't believe you slap 'im. That'll show him what real skin feels like.

You just need to tell him don't say it in a mean way like " eww that is the ugliest thing ever" or " eww take that off it is so cheesey" say it nicley and in a way that he knows that you don't want to hurt his feelings.
