Some people are idiots. Perhaps some enjoy doing this to pull others chains so to speak. I would also have reported it after receiving that kind of an e-mail. a person like that does not belong on here.
I was under the impression that this was for getting answers not to abuse others when they give an answer. well guess that proves me wrong. hang in there and don't let your feathers gt ruffled.

I know, I don't get it either. They feel like they can be as gross and replusive as they want too, but blow up when someone else talks sh*t right back at them. But what I REALLY don't get is when you ask a nice, respectable, serious question and someone totally rips you a new one. I asked a question about organ donation and stated I intended to donate my organs upon my death since I have a family member alive today due to receiving a vital organ. All of my responses were very sincere except for one who told me to shut the fu*k up. Now what in the world about THAT question warranted such a response? Oh well, we have to take the bad with the good on here. Let's not let a few punks ruin the fun for us.

Oh I've gotten a few of those before. I once had a question of mine removed because one of the respondents did not like my choice in best answer. He sent me an abusive message, and my reply to him was terse. Next thing I knew I lost a few points and my question was removed.

I agree with Glen T...I just laugh it off.

It is amazing how people have no problem asking a question to the whole world of yahoo answers then get upset when they don't get the answer they want. If they can't handle the truth then don't ask the question.

Some of the less literate (or less intelligent) are not interested in cognitive process. Keep in mind that they probably don't even know the meaning of the words that they are using. Consider the source and try not to be upset.

I've had that happen twice. I thinks its because the answer i gave them wasn't the answer they wanted or expected. I will admit that I was a bit curt with them, but hey, I told them the truth, lol.

I don't know if it's her/his case or not but some people get on here and just vent. It's not really a question. And when you don't agree with their point, they get upset. I've been threatened and cussed at.
