People that simply work a "job" for money are only doing that to get by for now, or else they just don't get it.
When you figure out where your interests lie, it will be fun to learn and work, and will no longer be considered "a job." When you are in pursuit of your dreams and goals, it is exciting, rewarding, and there is nothing more satisfying and full of joy.
You are still young, and are the tail trying to wag the dog. You know you aren't worthless, and yet you probably are worthless in anything other than menial tasks in the "job" market until you learn something, until you prove your worth, and until you stand out head and shoulders above others that are just "working the job."
Since most people want life easy, you can step ahead of most people by challenging yourself. Don't limit your goals. The whole world awaits someone who makes up for a lack of intelligence with lots of study and hard work. If you are to succeed, you must have passion for what you do. Choose three things that really turn you on, that are profitable, and hit the library.
By focusing on what you like to do, rather than how much money you'll make, you will become the best in that business; the most knowledgable, the most adept, and the most wanted. Then the money will come. Then come back and tell me there is no "good" job.
Sitting on your couch complaining, you cannot possibly see all of the possibilities that await you. But once you take the first step and begin to learn, doors will begin to open. You study harder to gain one of the doors, and hundreds of more doors show themselves. You study harder to reach the next level and gain yet another door, and thousands of doors present themselves. But when you know nothing, you don't even know what a door is, how to describe it, where to find it, or how to see it if you did, or have a clue what it meant.
There are so many places you can go wrong, and only a few right ways of thinking will help you. Your ability to concentrate fully and intensely can mean the difference between consistently taking home huge profits and barely staying above water. That's why it's important you stay alert and not waste your life or any time at all on drugs and temporal hedonistic pleasures. Wait until you are smack in the middle of your life's goal and purpose, and you will wish you had spent every waking moment in pursuit of your dreams.
One other thing: The world weeds out people who are unable to be honest with themselves. Concentrate on truth; yet another concept of "right" thinking.
One of the most important Samurai texts ever written, by Miyamoto Musashi, “The Book of the Five Rings (1643)”, offers this advice: “Think of what is right and true. Learn to see everything accurately. Become aware of what is not obvious. Be careful even in small matters. Do not do anything useless.”
There can be no great success in life without great commitment, hard work, discipline, and the realization of the “right” type of thinking.
It is your attitudes, beliefs, and discipline that ultimately yield results. Courage and positive attitudes combined with sound principles and methods will, in time, result in the desired outcome. Your persistence and determination to succeed is, in the final analysis, the critical element.
And one more thing; life is not about just you. You will find in this world exactly what you set out to give to it.
