Ive always wondered about civilization before the flood, so I think we have had a couple thousand years since the flood to establish all that we have done so far, skyscrapers, cars, etc...

If im not mistaken they had much more time before the flood, so did they have all the things that we have now? or do our minds work differently from a technological stand point?

If they did have some of the technologies that we do now, where did it all go?

I guess there are two types of answers.

1. Flood is a myth. so the question is irrelevant.

2. Flood happened: Now there several interpolations regarding how/when/where it happened.

One possible turn of events: The land was so perfect that man did not have to advance so much. Very low population density. There are only 10 generations from Adam to Noah (Adam, Seth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalael, Jared, Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech, and Noah)

Time from Adam to birth of Noah = 1176 years and Noah was 600 year old when the flood hit.
Therefore only 1776 years have passed from the creation of Adam to the flood. The Jewish calender is dated to the creation of the world and we are currently in year 5767, therefore 4591 years have passed since the flood.

nicely it could fairly matter on how i'm approximately to die. If i'm approximately to be murdered or if it fairly is surprising i could ask for 5 minutes to think of roughly my existence, the folk in my existence, and that i could prey. If it fairly is yet differently and that i've got a stable quantity of time i could communicate with the folk i like and notice them one final time.
