What defines the rocker chic and surfer chic styles?

I mean, what articles of clothing, hairstyles, shoes, etc. I'm not looking for chains or anything TOO over the top, but if you could help me that would be great! Thanks! =D

From what I have seen, in the 80's mostly, since that is when some rock was mostly popular (KISS, Scorpion, Whitesnake) a rocker chick would be a said groupie usually characterized by spiky hair, mostly black outfit, fish-net stockings and combat boots. You can add your mordern twist to it, just search for that trend on google to see what all is common.

A surfer chick, enough said, mostly 50's trendy close to the beach. Bikini wraps, sandals, bikini top, tan, ect. Like before, add your own modern twist (example: shark tooth necklace, anklet, little earrings)

Whatever you do, just be yourself.
