Last time the Giants went 4-0 in the pre-season they won the Super Bowl (1990). History tends to repeat itself. If Tiki and Jacobs can run the ball and Eli doesn't throw interceptions, The Giants will win it all.

A great preseason isn't really a good barometer to how the regular season will go. I believe the 1973 Giants went 6-0 in the preseason but went just 2-11-1 in the regular season. I also think the 2000 team, which went 12-4 and went to the Super Bowl, only went 1-3 or maybe even 0-4 in the preseason. That being said, I do think the Giants will win 11 or 12 games and make the playoffs. I'm not sure about the Super Bowl yet. That depends on Eli.

If you want to relate preseason to regular season...Carolina was 4-0 as well and pitched the Giants a shut out in the playoffs last season, So I have a question for you...Are my Panthers going to the super bowl then?
Giants have a shot...but there is just something about their team that leads me to not think they'll do it...which doesn't make sense...they're a good team. But that division is freakin' inpressive. Even Philly is back in the game now that they have Donte Stallworth. Is he an S-Class receiver like Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, or Marvin Harrison? No...but he's certainly a very good addition to the Eagles offense with McNabb at QB. I would be amazed if any team in that division did better than 3-3 against each other, because of that I wont give any of them over an 11-5 final record, expecially considering they all play Tampa and Carolina as well...both of which will certainly deliver some losses...And don't let Atlanta sneak up...hurt Vick and you have a potent weapon in Matt Schaub behind him...And don't turn your back on their defense until they show you it's not good.
Carolina opens at home against them...we'll find out. So as for the Giants...With Philly, Dallas, Washington, Tampa, Carolina, and Atlanta on the schedule, not to mention their 7 other opponents....All I can say is good luck this season.

The pre-season is just a glorified practice for the starters and a job interview for the other guys. Records don't mean a thing in the pre-season. If they are 1-0 after week one maybe you're on to something but until then The New York Football GIANTS will have to buy a ticket to the big game just like you and me.

Don't count on the preseason. The Colts were 0-fer last preseason and went 13-0 before loing 2 of their last 3. The Giants are getting better and you should be psyched up for it. They could sneak up and be a great team. They have all the weapons to get it done. It's up to Eli now...!!!

Maybe. The pre-season does mean something, but not much. And the 'Phish aren't going to win the divisional crown, let alone the conference one. 13 sacks in 4 games just isn't very good, even in the preseason. That's a little more than 3 sacks/game, or a whopping 48 sacks allowed if that continues in the regular season. Considering that Culpepper has always had fumbling problems, that equates to quite a few fumbles....

The Giants will win the division, but that's about it. Those 4 teams are all pretty evenly matched (the 'Skins are the worst but they could pull a few upsets down the stretch) so I don't see the Giants doing better than 9-7. They just don't have the weapons to get past Seattle or Carolina.

I think the Saints were 4-0 last year in the preseason. They finished 3-13 in the regular season.

Too tough of a division. Bot Dallas and the skins are slightly better then them. Nothing from the giants here, they are good team.. its just that you have 3 or maybe even 4 playoff contenders in that division. Going to be a tough stretch. The best they can hope for is 9-7 and sqeaking in somehow.

Pre season knee season. 4-0 in the pre season could be good or the whole OL could be out with injuries in two weeks. Okay, good luck to you and your Giants.
