Motson and Lawrenson have turned into the Beavis and Butthead of commentary, sniggering at each other crappy jokes like infants.John Barnes looks like a scared child when he is front of the camera, unsure what to do and where to look.Gabby Yorath wears so much makeup she looks like a Thai lady boy.Alan Green worships Liverpool and is the most miserable man on the planet, he gets paid to watch football and he just says how boring the game is.Graeme Le Saux,Lee Dixon and Gavin Peacock might as well be the same person, they never criticize ne one and all the points they make are blatantly obvious.Big Ron is a racist and David Pleats voice makes you lose the will to live.So all in all,at the end of the day, theres no easy games in international football, hes got great touch for a big man and the only decent pundits are Hansen and Linekear.

Can't believe I'm the only one to say Alan Shearer.
I always respected him as a player, ok he was a bit of a dirty git at times, but he was single minded and knew where the goal was.
As a pundit I've never heard anyone talk such bollocks in my life.
As for why the BBC gave Jonathan Pearce a contract god only knows. He has toned down from his channel 5 days though.
Hansen gives intelligent analysis and Gary Lineker has surpassed all expectations by doing the job even better than Des Lynam.
SHEARER MUST GO!!

Ian Wright - pub nutter who speaks before he thinks
David Pleat - sounds like he is reading off the autocue
Gazza - just awful
Pearce - far too petulant
but some good ones.....
Gary Neville/Gareth Southgate - articulate and analytical, really good pundits in the making
Bobby Robson - done the lot and knows what he's talking about
Martin O'Neill - talks a lot of sense

John Moston as a commentator as he just comes out with boring facts and drivel and misses whats happening such as when Beckhams free kick went in as an own goal
David Pleat as co-commentator coz he makes u want to put radio 5 on.
Carlton Palmer as pundit as he sounds so boring and was a terrible player and manager

David Pleat - Can't pronounce anyones name correctly, talks complete gibberish, and refers to playing positions that were last used in the 1960's! Just thoroughly annoying. I was glad when the sound went off midway through the Arsenal match last week.

Johnathan Pearce, without a doubt. He is so loud and excitable. You need to mute the tv when he is commenting.
