Do you still have fun being naked outside, either with friends or just by yourself?

Remember when we were little and it was so much fun to run around outside naked? Then all of a sudden we were told that we were "too old" to be naked anymore, because it "wasn't nice". What a terrible way to induce shame and guilt about our body! Hopefully, many of us have overcome that message as we've grown up. Tell us what it was like for you...then and now.

I don't really remember being naked as a child. But for the last 2 years (I am 16 now) I have been swimming topless in my pool and my friends pool. I luv it. I luv feeling the sun on my chest, and having no tan lines. Occasionally I swim naked at home, but only when my family are not there.

Interesting question. I'm quite shy if I have to be naked on the outside, or around people I do not know. I went to a couple nude beaches and just could not bring myself to get naked. However, when I'm home, it's another story. I love the feeling.

I think the reason I get so self-conscious is because I feel / perceive that people are watching and judging my body. I suddenly become aware of all my imperfections.

The west (that's us) has a bigger problem with nudity than many other cultures it seems. Most likely due to the "church lady" syndrome and I suspect the "church lady" got upset in the first place because she saw some well built male nudist and couldn't cope with her own lust.

We are also very cold and don't like to touch each other (I'm not talking about nude touching here) where as in other countries people of the same or opposite sex hug, or kiss on the cheek when greeting.

There's nothing wrong with nudity except in dirty minds, and contrary to popluar belief, generic nudity and sex are not the same thing. One could argue that one leads to the other but in native society's where both men and women stay nude most of the time and go about their daily lives together, sex isn't in the picture at all.

But I digress. Because it's inappropriate in public no one will ever see me intentionally nude there which is most likely a good thing - I don't even mow the lawn with my shirt off which is a good thing too but if I were camping out with friends in the wilderness, we might just go skinny dipping and it would be no big deal.

I like to go over to my friend's pool and lay around naked. It's very liberating to have the breeze in your knees!

One word of advice though... always carry a towel so that you can sit on it. The last thing I want when I lay my head down on the couch is to lay it where some naked bottom has been!

But I still like being naked in the house whenever time permits.

Well, I am 62...I am fortunate to live in a rural area, my property surrounded by natural barriers to the roads. I generally everyday, even in winter, step outside nude...No biggie...Just too lazy to dress when nobody will see me...

Would I do that in public???...My ancient decrepit body would probably cause nausea and disgust....Nahhhhh...I wouldn't force that on anyone...hahahahaha

I do miss being able to run around with out cloths on, all the time. But unfortunately, since the kids came around, that is no longer an option :-(.
