Agassi kind of hurt his chances last night by not finishing off the match in 4 sets. The guy can only play so much tennis. That said, the tennis Gods are smiling on Andre.

Hurricane Ernesto is likely to bring rain to New York on Saturday. So, there's a very good chance Agassi will get an extra (much needed) rest day to recover from last night's match.

So, I am predicting that Agassi will at least make it to the Quarterfinals, as I think he can handle Becker and Roddick.

From that point on, it will be tough. If someone can upset Federer, Nadal, and Nalbandian, I think Agassi can win the whole tournament. Unfortunately, that is a very long shot.

I say Agassi makes it to the Quarterfinals, and if he doesn't have to play Hewitt, he will make it to the Semi Finals.

Just like Connors did back in the day before losing to Agassi.

Riding on the adrenalin of his final grand slam tournament appearance and the awesome support from the US Open fans in New York (and fans across the globe), he'll beat Becker next and then he'll take down Roddick in the quarter finals.

As much as I'd love to see him win it all, his Open run and his illustrious career will end in the semi finals.

Andre Agassi - 100% class player AND person.

His poor back can only take so much, two very long first and second round matches certainly will take their toll on his 36 year old body. Every match there is a possibility it will be his last, no matter who the challenger. He can compete at a very high level, that is no question, especially after last night. His fate is in the hands of the Tennis Gods at this point.

He will beat Becker in the 3rd round but lose to Roddick in the 4th. It will be a nice way to end his career - passing on his torch to the next gen. American tennis star.

And - quite poetically, in fact - Roddick will go on to win this US Open. It will ignite his career, and he will go on to have a career comparable to Agassi's.

To the QF. He'll beat Roddick in 4th round but lose to either Hewitt or Gasquet in QF.

So don't end question 'til Agassi actually loses.

He's likely to have a big let down and lose to Becker in his next match.

I think he could win. Everyone has a fair shot at the beginning - anything could happen at anytime.

It actually depends. You never know who is going to win or lose unless you watch it.
