In the United States most schools start the third or fourth week of August then . Some schools are called year round schools and the students that go to them only have a short two week summer break. I am a adult now but i am happy that school has started because I work all night long and I sleep in the day time. Sometimes I get woke up by children playing then I get cranky

Im from Ukraine
School begins on the 1st of September.
However there are no lessons on this day.
So this year it begins on the 4th of September.
And yes, I am really happy to come back to school.
I was a little bit tired of having 3 moth-holiday and I cant wait for the term to begin. Not sure Ill say this after 3 moths of studying :)

school in the united states has already started it started about 2 weeks ago, for most of the country but thier are some just starting now.

I live in Missouri in the United States and my kids went back to school on the 21st of August. One is happy to be back in school and one is not!!!!

I dunno... well, i'm from the philippines... it usually starts in June after Summer....(summer here is March, April, MAy) then ends in March... But we heard that it will be transferred in September since it is usually rainy in June, July....students get a hard time...i dunno when... but i hope someday it will be transferred...for a change...
