It really depends on which middle calss suburb you are going to live in. The west coast if very expensive I would say between 500,000 to 800,000 and the mid west between 85,000 and 250,000 the east coast probably about 150,000 to 300,000 and the south 100,000 to 300,000. It all depends on what you are looking for. There are gate communites in Savanah and Charleston that have 2 bedrooms starting at 215,000. And florida is the same.
