The highlander has experience on his side and his good with the blade, but he doesn’t have adamantium covering his bones and his healing factor is slow compared to the Wolverine, and if his head gets lopped Game over.
Wolverine is the best in what he does

Logan is physically stronger, and McLeod takes injury like a normal human. He heals faster, but not super-fast. McLeod knows some martial arts, but if Logan got close enough to stop him using a sword, the Highlander would be no more
That is, if Logan knew McLeod's weakness. Otherwise, Logan would hack and slash his way through several battles and never win. Duncan's sword could never do enough damage to kill Wolverine.

i got to go with the highlander he has mor experience and has had better teachers, wolerines skull isnt adamanitine so connor could just slice his skull in half and let his face and half his brain hit the floor - wolverine may be a fighter the highlander however is a killer "remember highlander the fight is over before it is begun"

Highlander doesn't have the unbreakable metal skeleton, so Wolvie could take a blow that would normally be lethal, while getting close enough to deliver one of his own. I think that Highlander would be so surprised as Wolvie stuck his claws through his heart and then began to cut him up and spread the pieces out far enough so they couldn't heal back together again.

His Claws would slice through McCloud's sword, and then slice right through his head as well. The Highlander would have no chance at all.

it would be a good fight since they both would be peak physical human fitness, and both have hundreds of years of fight training and experience but wolverine adimantium skeleton would save him again in the the highlander could not cut his head off he could only get to the spine, and wolverine's claws could cut the highlanders head off easy and probably cut his sword in half in the proses, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE
