That depends on where you go in South Carolina. I have relatives that live in SC and in the major cities the rent is higher than some places in Ohio. If you live in the country in SC the rent is cheap compared to most of Ohio. Hope this helps! Good Luck!

Depends on where you're talking about. It's pretty expensive to live well around the three C's (Cincinatti, Cleveland, Columbus), but it's even more expensive to live well in coastal South Carolina. Housing overall is cheaper in Ohio, but you also have to factor in heating since Ohio gets much colder in the winter than South Carolina. Without more information, can't really give you an honest answer.

I think that is relative , but Sc is cheaper to live ...the jobs also are less paying , so it evens out . I do enjoy living in Sc rather than up north though .
