Absolutely, I go there at least once a month for some peace and tranquility... and the vegetarian Jazz cafe ;)
I am not English myself but I have lived near Glastonbury now for almost a year. I love the Tor, the Abbey, and the town itself is beautiful. I am quite happy I am only 12 miles from beautiful Glastonbury... If you ever fancy a cuppa get in touch!

It's wonderful! So many people go to 'Glastonbury' the festival, even though it's not in Glastonbury, so think they've been there.
The town is lovely, so calming and well almost kind of 'magical'.
I have to say, I'm not at all 'new agey'. Don't believe in horoscopes, or healing crystals and that kind of stuff, so for a place to have that kind of effect on me, it has to be special.
I've never felt so serenely calm and at ease as when I visited Glastonbury. Oh, and the view from the Tor? Wow, absolutely incredible, and well worth the climb.
On my computer desk, I have a small cake tin that I keep some keepsakes in, from Burns the Bread. It contained Torsy Moorsy luxury fruit cake. It was the NICEST cake I've ever tasted in my life. I wish you could buy it mail order, it's a bit far for me to pop there on the weekend to buy a cake!

I only got the chance to visit Glastonbury for a few days, many years ago - but it was one of my favorite experiences on my trip through England and I would love to return. I was especially fond of the Chalice Gardens and the Chalice Well. I loved some of the eclectic little shops that I found hiding in corners, and the overall atmosphere of the town was lovely.

I love Glastonbury! I used to live only 20mins away in the car - and still have friends who live there now.
A very close friend of mine watched the solar eclipse from the tor back in 2000 (I think it was 2000)

such as you, overly frilly ladies' names. i for my section dislike Rosalie, Amelia, Delilah, Alexandra, Gabriella, Lilliana, Sophia, Christina, etc. they do exactly not charm to me in any respect. i'm plenty much less complicated going with boys' names. the only ones i for my section hate are the particularly well-liked, cheesy, made up names like Bentley, Braxton, Tyson, Hayden, etc. i'm uncertain how a lot of human beings rather love those names through fact I do see my truthful proportion of damaging comments on them coming from others, yet i think sufficient human beings might desire to love them to cause them to so well-liked interior the 1st place!
