Cortisone Shots aside, do you think Agassi is using performance enhancing Drugs like EPO, or Steroids?

I am a big fan of Andre, but question his ability to never tire.

Never. He is so not that type of person.

And the cortisone shots are just to keep the inflamation down in his back - they don't help him in any way other than to make him not in excruciating pain.

He's a legend - and rightly so. Has anyone else ever played 21 US Opens in a row?

Why would anyone ruin such an amazing career like that, especially someone of Agassi's calibur?

Pretty sure adrenaline keeps him going - and you could see at the end that he was tired. Do you remember his US Open final with Sampras a couple years ago? Definitely looking tired.

I think he's making a run for it at his last tournament ever - and giving it everything he has. Plain and simple.

If you question Andre's ability to never tire, you obviously have not followed his career. His body may tire but he acquired and developed 'mind over matter' skills a long time ago. His heart and undisputed love for the game and competition are attributes that only the best can master.

No malicious intent meant here but your question is indicative of how the media can sway public sentiment on the negative aspects of sports figures and the stereotyping that results.

Agassi does his talking on the court and the World Tennis Association will handle the mandatory drug testing.

No, Agassi is in great shape and he is a very intelligent player and saves as much energy as he can whilst sending his opponents running from side to side of the court. The only reason he is retiring after this season is because of his back problems.

During the Baghdadis game the crowd played a very important role, the Cyprian was never able to concentrate and we only saw glimpses of his energy during the 4th set.

No, I do not believe that Agassi is using performance enhancing drugs. I do believe that the Cortisone injections he received to help his ailing back helped him recently, however.

No, he just stays in great shape. Although, he looked like his back was killing him and he could barely walk after the match yesterday.

Not a good question - somebody might end up in the courts for defamation.

no, if he was using performance enhancing drugs, he'd have more hair.

(see, a silly question merits a silly response).
