YES. If you're not good about washing that hair, *it* and not your skin is what the BO-causing bacteria live on. So if you shave it off, the bacteria has nowhere to live and can't stink you up. Not to say you won't still stink a little and have to shower, it will just be way less......

NO! Shaving your armpit hair does not guarantee of not having a b.o. Good hygiene does! Perspiration also plays a big part of having BO

The hair will hold a little more perspiration but shaving your pits makes them itch like hell when it starts to grow in again.Try using an antiperspirant/deodorant with triclosan. This will kill the bacteria that are primarily responsible for the odor.Using deodorant soaps that also contain triclosan help even more.I know dial used to contain triclosan but they may have discontinued using it and I know that the new Dial for Men doesn't contain any.

Yes, bacteria and odour get trapped in the hair.
Research shows, that women are attracted by male sweat (pheronomes, but fresh only is my editorial note).
I still get slightly weirded out by guys who are shaven, even if they are doing it for their sport to reduce wind resistance or something.

If you keep it short the deodorant can reach your skin and do its work. I'm presuming you're a guy because your name is Guy and if your hair is short it can still work, but too long uh-uh no way. A good deodorant is degree. I love degree it keeps all genders dry.

Most definitely. Same for your other hairy area. At least keep it clipped short down there.
