I never heard of them before the VMAs last night, but they sound pretty good. Their name appears to be a Biblical reference. When God sent Cain into exile for the murder of his brother Abel, He told Cain that if someone were to murder him, "vengeance shall be upon him sevenfold," or in some translations, he would be "avenged sevenfold."

There new stuff is pretty lame, radio rock crap. There older stuff is descent, but there is better Metal bands out there.
