I divorced my husband 1 1/2 years ago. I haven't spoken to him since the day we separated 2 1/2 years ago. And at that time I was pregnant with my 3rd child. I felt like you but worse... Who would want to date a woman that has 3 children??? I thought I wouldn't date for many, many years to come. I was set up on a few blind dates that were horrible! The men were really turned off by the fact that I have 3 children. You have lowered the number of men that will date you. But, why would you want that kind of man anyway? If you enjoy your life with your child and not worry about a significant other then he will come. I promise you... he will eventually show up. My prince charming did and we are very happy now. It took a couple years but he's here now and the wait was well worth it. If I can find my Mr. Romeo with 3 children then you will have absolutely no trouble finding one that accepts 1 child. Just always be aware of pedifiles. They come in all shapes and sizes and some seem normal at first. It's good for a man to be envolved with your child (if he's going to be around for the long haul) but, if he is too interested and you notice changes in you child's behavior then PLEASE be cautious. Pedifiles know how to befriend children before the abuse begins. If your child shows a great liking toward them and then suddenly changes then something is going on. Good luck to you and your little one and God bless!

Most men would just see you as a woman who is unattached and available. Once the relationship has gone forward you may see a change as the man decides if you are someone he wants to be with given the fact you have a child and a baby's daddy,. A lot of times this will create an atmosphere of jealousy and in the long run ruin the chances he'll stay with you.

I'll be honest, it's not something I would want. It's a big turn off since you are the mother of some other dude's kid. BTW, just because some guys find it to be a turnoff doesn't make them bad. People have preferences, plain and simple.

Eventually you'll find a man that doesn't mind a woman with a baby to hold them down. Believe it or not they're out there, you just have to find them.
