That's a very personal question. It depends on what you like; action games, puzzles, stories, cards, etc.
My personal favorite of all is "Descent II" by Parallax Software, a 3-D shooter.

3. GTA San Andreas (best action adventure game)

That would definetely depend on what genre of games you like. Personally I like The Age of Empires series, the Lord of the Rings-Battle for Middle Earth series and the Call of Duty series as well.

Fallout 1 & 2 or Deus Ex. All three have the same good qualities: Huge world, limitless choices and possibilities and immersive storyline.

I personally like Tycoon type games, wiht my favorites being the Roller Coaster Tycoon series (especially 3 and both expansions).

GTA San Andreas because it is the most violent game in the world. You can steal a car and drive away. You can kill people and steal their money. You can explore the whole state of SAn Andreas. You can wreck havoc if you want. It is my most favorite game in the world.
