My wife would support them, she has to walk my kids to school every day, and often has to walk on the road to avoid cars parked on the path, which is simply not a safe thing to have to do.
She tried rining doorbells and asking if the owners would move their cars.
Now she just pushes the pushchair through their flowerbeds...
I don't think she's thought of slashing tyres yet - altough that would be self defeating as they are hardly going to move with flat tyres!
If your yob gang really want to get the backing of the oldsters they should just stick a polite notice to each windscreen (right in the eyeline) but just make sure the stickers are difficult to get off!

I strongly suspect that old people will not be impressed. After all the car with the slashed tyres is going to be stuck on that pavement for even longer after being vandalised.
It was an interesting main question, but just a shame you had to ruin it with such a banal example. I was hoping for something on the lines of insurrection against oppression, or assassination attempts on Hitler.

It is not the case of two negatives make a positive. Wrong is wrong and the more you commit the more you suffer. Why think of wrong and try to be right always. You need not think what reason the local gang say and your feeling (ofcourse RIGHT only) will make you happy and satisfied

theoretically it could equal a right, but i think the intentions may be swayed a bit from the actual reason behind it. but maybe, just depends on what happens to the people that get their tires slashed. they might try to get revenge and then you have a couple wrongs, a right and probably a few more wrongs that wont make a right. Right? haha that got confusing!

NO! Call the Police to correct the problem! If they can't, or will not, then contact your Mayor, etc. Damaging the property of another, even if they are illegally parked, is still breaking the Law!
Laws are what makes Society work, as long as they are enforce equally.

It's really sweet, and their intentions are obviously good, but even if it comes to the desired outcome, they have still done something wrong!
And what happens when these kids end up with a jail sentence and screw up the rest of their education?
It would be much better if they campained in the right way, and still managed to change the situation.
Good luck to them!

Not in that case. They dont really care about the old people they just want to vandalize things without being viewed as a bunch of low life chavs anymore!

It can create balance, where inbalance is dangerous. It can also lead to escalation and war.
One wrong, followed by a wrong which is greater and more significant would be likely to be responded to with another wrong of even greater magnitude.
You have to be very careful if you adopt this strategy in your life, as you may someday come up against yourself in a battle of wrongs.

not sure that will work.. two wrongs never make a right, if they were really doing this to enhance their image in the community, they would be better putting notices on car windows..?
sorry I know I am being cynical and judgemental, but this is based on experience..
