I've always thought it could be possible because banishing people was a way of punishing people at one time. And with so few people on the planet it would have been easy for people to form into a different species because of isolation from their own kind. Being covered in hair is a natural protection from the elements.

Yes, especially the Nepal guides who have seen the Yeti. Here in North America they have relatives called Sasquatch or Bigfoot.

In this day and age of cam corders telephone cameras etc, it seems we could have gotten a good picture of one by now. Notice that since these things become so popular and cheap there have been less Yeti and UFO sightings?
