Lose the semifinal at World Cup Basketball! Now you pretend you never heard of it??!! "Dream team" losing to little old Greece? Nightmare team perhaps?

Expect it? NO!!!!
But if I were Greek I would be proud.
They played like they just came down from Mount Olympus.
Makes one think .....about our "Dream Team"

Well, maybe before playing the game Americans should have done some research about Greek/European basketball. Greek league is one of the toughest leagues in Europe and overall in Europe, basketball is a very important sport. Great games are played by Greece, Spain, Lithuania, Serbia and Montenegro, Turkey, Italy and others in European championships every year...some of these teams may not have shown their best in this tournament but the thing is there are always one or more European teams at their best and they can very well compete with the US.
It's high time that the US players realized that they're not the one and only.

Like most American sports fans, I'm too busy with the baseball pennant races, and college/pro football kicking off, to give the World Basketball Champsionships anything more than a passing thought.
Plus, after Team USA's performance over the past decade; it's not very surprising that they'd lose. Now, they can focus on looking for their next shoe, or sport drink, deal.
Congrats to Greece, and good luck in the finals!

I hated the fact that USA lost. I cried, because I use to wake up every morning at 1 or 2:00 just to see USA win and see Anthony, Wade, and James play the one sport they love Basketball, and dominated at, for them to be all under 25 yrs of age. They vowed to make this year different with them three being captains but hey we always have next year, and Congrats to Greece they played a good game.

Hell Yes!!! I called it long before.....our ball players are too interested in "Hip-Hop" basketball....they would rather look pretty losing versus looking bad winning....been that way for years....I asked this question before.....How many NBA rings would my all-foreign team win in the NBA?....all of you missed my point.......the NBA commissioner would do anything to break us up after the first one for it would be so dominant that they would never lose......American Basketball is sorry!sorry!sorry!....they caught us years ago and we are now "choking" in the dust left by them......our chances would be better with the NCAA champ representing us........I am 60 years old this year.....let me go get up my sorry high school team (at our age) and we could hang with these "Super Stars" at our age....for we played as a team...what ever it took as a team we did it .......seriously....a group of college players would do better.....they are SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!....I wish I could really say what I am feeling......like I may be holding back........you think I am upset just a little.......SORRY! SORRY! SORRY!

i expected it... the way the americans have been shooting... it's actually apparent... what i didn't expect is for argentina to lose... anyways, Go Greece!!!
