My first husband was a Scorpio. He was my knight in shining armour. He always treated me like a queen. He always went out of his way for his friends and family. I would have to say, you need to ditch this stereotype. Not that its your business, but we are no longer together only because he passed away.

It has been my experience that people OFTEN fit their zodiacs, (NOT the daily horoscopes, but the characteristics of the zodiacs). This is not a fool proof way to understand someone, though. It can be used as a guideline, but it is always best to give a person the benefit of the doubt, and is often worth getting to know the person to see if he/she fits his/her zodiac description. I know for a FACT that NOT all Scorpios are mean and miserable because I am a full blooded Scorpio and I am not mean nor miserable all the time (actually I am not mean nor miserable MOST of the time). I think ANYONE can be mean and miserable some times. Be careful of labels and judging a book by their cover, too. Would you want to be pre-judged by your stereo-types, whatever they may be?

As an older Scorpio I've learned to reign that intenseness in. To not fall in love to quickly .........I'm talkin a couple of dates LOL. To not be so emotional .However if you do something to hurt me I will have my revenge and you won't even know it. I"m kind to those that are kind to me. I have few close friends.Some people think I'm hard and not give a crap......but when they get to know me I'm a very kind person. I often say maybe if I would have given in a little I'd have that house on the beach with a husband and a dog. Don't get me wrong...I have been married 2 times and I have 2 adult sons. If you're a true Scorpio as I check yourself girls .Cause while you thinkin you know it all you're losing a good man. Stand down a little and @ least let him think he's in charge.

I have met some Scorpios that were nice and some that weren't. In fact, I have met people of all astrological signs who are nice and some who weren't . Saying that people of a certain sign are mean or miserable would be like saying all people with brown eyes are smart or all people with short hair are funny.

They do seem to have a dark side, but sometimes I think they are just self centered. My friend who is Scorpio seems to drift off in her own world a couple times a month, but then when she comes out she can be very passionate.

I'm not. I don't think being mean is an astrological trait. Scorpio's are the most passionate of the signs. We make great friends.

I had a close friend Scorpio and she broke our friendship for just getting some gifts and things that belonged to me.she betrayed me for some material things which I would have never done to her.

I agree we tend to be a moody, broody group. Perhaps it's the time of year we were born? I have been accused of being a real B*TCH when I want to be but really I'm a very loving and generous person to those who have the patience to get to know me.

I think that I can be at times. If I have been screwed over. I think that when we love...it is intense... and, when we are wronged....... you'd better watch your back because we will more than likely get EVEN!
