Had to ask once again, none of the answers seem quite right. Im not an immigrant so dont get the idea tt im abused by ur govt for the reason tt im writing this. Ive never been to america either. But if i were to visit there, i wld visit the statue of liberty for my 1st destination and take a huge piss on her face. Im in residing in asia, u noe, the place known to americans as hidden nuclear warhead storage. So the news featured an INTERNATIONAL POLL , OFFICIAL, saying tt AMERICAN TOURISTS ranks lowest in terms of curtosey. I work in the service line, and most of us encounter our customer difficulties with american tourists. So how come u guys rank so low? R they really tt paranoid tt we wld activate a bomb beside them or smth? Or tt they are homesick and angry tt u missed the baseball NBA WWE cheerleaders flaunting mini skirts back home? M I wanted by ur FBI for posting this now? Y do they act like they are visually impaired in order to blend into the crowd? u noe with the glases?

Oh im just saying tourists yeah, not all americans are bad ppl, i noe tt. So if u r an american who never left US, im not judging u. U can continue go do ur stuff, u noe, shoot someone in sch or smth cos this Q is not 4 u.

I have traveled to other countries and their cultures differ from ours. things that we find rude are perfectly normal to them and i am sure it works the same way. to us things are normal but to others we are being rude when in reality we aren't use to their customs.
I do have to say that on a trip to Korea i ran across a group of Americans that to me embarrassed me and our whole country. some Americans think that because we are a powerful nation that everyone should bow to them, and show no respect to the people in the country they are visiting.
bottom line is America is made up of people from almost every other country so when they are being rude while visiting they are being rude to the very roots that their family derived from.
I truly apologize for those that have no respect for others and call themselves Americans.

You fail to see the irony in your statement.
Besides, I have found that the Italians and the Germans can be just as rude, bumping people off the sidewalks and barging to the front of the queue.

You would like to know why we rank so low on courtesy polls.Gee i dont know could it be comments like the ones that you have made about our country.We are not courteous because we have to deal with jack offs like you on a daily basis.I tell you this hope to god or whatever thing it is you people over there pray to that you never set foot in this country because with an attitude like yours you are sure to end up hurt by one of us baseball playing wrestling watching americans.Stay where you are because you are a very iggnorant person.

Pissing on the statue of liberty ranks you pretty low in my mind also. You cannot make other people behave as you would like but you can set an example to others.

I have travelled around the world, and I confirm what you say. American tourist can be spotted from miles away. They are so rude and obnoxious.

i would have to agree that americans are rude as travelers maybe it because there away from there well loved country. not sure but so far all the American traveler/tourists have been rude.
but im sure there not the rudest(uk). candians are my fav.

thats ridiculous! americans are the sweetest most loveable people on the planet!! its just that everyother country is so far behind us that they are jealous because they are forced to live in what ever sh-t hole they are stuck in
