it seem they just vanished? there tombs and pyramids are amazing!

They were concuored by Emperor Cambyses of Persia and made part of the Persian Empire, later they regained independance but were eventually conquored by the Romans under Caesar and Marcus Antonius. They remained part of the Roman Empire for over a thousand years until the spread of Isalm from the east converted Egypt into an Islamic nation. Egypt became westernised by the British in the nineteenth century.

Well they are Dead - - - - successive waves of People have washed over The Nile Valley submerging the Civilzation of the Pharohs - - - but the current inhabitants still call themselves Egyptians and are quite proud of a heritage older than twenty centuries. In other words, Egyptians Endure - - - - historically they were ultimately conquered by The Greeks and then The Romans - - - Peace.

Well, the ancient egyptians had children. And then they had children. And well, quite a lot of generations later you have the modern Egyptians!

And as someone said: modern Egyptians don't build pyramids etc. as fashions change over time.

They became the present day Egyptians, but if you mean the culture then I think it was the changes made by floods and famine plus the invasion of Egypt by other peoples eg. the Romans

I don't think they just vanished but i hope it was due to the western interference they just gave up all the things.........

And also the fact that The Nile once proclaimed to be nothing in the middle ages.........

they are now referred to as the "Egyptians". I think they dropped the ancient part about a thousand years ago.

They had children and died, their children did the same until you reach the modern egyptians who are still doing the same thing.
