Well interms of salary and other benefits , the software stream has the heaviest pay checks on offer. My best suggestion to you will be to go for a degree in embedded systems technology in computers.Firms like SOCRATES, WIPRO,RELIANCE,HP etc are on a hiring spree for embedded technology freshers and prospects are very bright.Since you have already started yr Bachelors in computer sciences ,it will be an added benefit if you enrol for a diploma atleast for embedded systems. If you have a strong interest for Business and the majors that you mention, then you are always free-handed to do an MBA after yr basic degree in computers.
Being a software specialist and marketing MBA will be a potent mix on yr Resume and you will be up for grabs. So think it over and go ahead.Pay scale for computer related fields ranges aroung Rs 12ooo pm for freshers and then shoots up to 25-30,000 in subsequent 3-4 yrs. For business fields, it all depends on yr MBA degree and experience, otherwise its also an equally well paying job.You may consider US or oceania to earn yr MBA since you are instantly offered jobs as you complete yr degree.

These are some of my suggestions, to make it happen depends on your interests and pursuits!!

Good luck!!

BS in comp sci will not let you move into business type jobs after graduation. If you just get the BS, then you'll probably need an MBA to move up in the business world, or else work at a small firm where degrees matter less.

BA would give you the opportunity to work in business, but if you're not a go getter, understand that you will probably be working in a role that resembles a desk clerk. It's a big ocean out there and there are some rather large fish. If you are capable of completing the CS degree and find it interesting then I think you will probably do better in technical work because that work is just not available to people who are pure "business" heads.

I know at some universities you can get a comp sci degree with a business minor, or consider doing a double major. Comp sci with business is a good combo. Check with your undergraduate office about the double major, it should be possible. The problem is that this stuff is not exactly advertised, so you need to find out about your options yourself. The undergrad calendar will explain the degree options if you take the time to read it.

If you can finish either of these degrees as i know people who have done both and they are difficult then you will do well professionally in both areas. You only have to ask around to discover that both accountants and computer science graduates earn a sizable salary and there is never a shortage of jobs in these areas unlike the arts as you will find out by looking in any graduate jobs magazine or website. Try going to your local uni's careers centre, alternatively i'm sure either of the uni's you have applied to will be happy to let you browse their facilities and if not then their not worth their salt as the expression goes. But ultimately go with what your instinct tells you after all your the one who's going to have to do the course for 3/4 years.

You can realistically do either. But if you do CS, you'll be working in CS after graduation, rather than working in marketing or management. But that may be fine. You'd actually be a very strong candidate to get into an MBA program after you'd worked a couple of years, and you'd be almost guaranteed a job with that combo of a BS in CS, then work, and an MBA.
